Mr. Rakesh Bakshi, being bestowed with "CLIMATE TECHNOLOGY LEADERSHIP AWARD" by Climate Technology Initiative (CTI) on 1st November, 1999 at the occasion of the 5th Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) held from 25th October, 1999 to 5th November, 1999 at Bonn, Germany. The award was presented by Mr. Robert Priddle, Executive Director of the International Energy (IEA).
